Liz has over 10 years of experience in youth development, education, and non-profit program coordination. She began her career working with young women and LGBT youth in her hometown of Detroit and for the last five years has worked with youth in the Bay Area, including three years as an after school Program Director in Oakland. She has provided professional development, training and coaching to after school educators and has worked to develop innovative and technology-infused after school curriculum. Liz also teaches Creative Writing to grades K-12, is a published author and is currently at work on her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing.
